I personally always handwash my pottery however all my pieces are dishwasher safe. Overtime the raw (unglazed) claybody can stain and for that reason I avoid subjecting my personal pieces to the wear and tear of the dishwasher. Handle with care to avoid chipping and cracking.
CARE

Handwashing preferred but a dishwasher is just fine - use top rack. Handle with care. Handmade stonewear can be fragile.
